Since the National Lockdown announcement on the 4th of January, & the subsequent ECB comms, all matches are cancelled until the 15th February which is their review date given & we will hear as to if & when we can resume.
The loss of 6 match days of the 2020/21 fixtures though does mean the revising & streamlining of the arranged competitions into a shorter available period prior to the Lords finals on the 21st March.
Unfortunately, this does therefore mean that the following is necessary:-
The cancelling of all Plate competitions.
The removal of any further group matches therefore previous matches played have to now be viewed as Knock Out.
If we have not returned to Tier 3 to restart on the 7th March only the following competitions will continue :- U10s, U11s, Girls U12s & U13s. Please go to the Indoor page to see the revised fixtures
If there is a delay making only 14th March start possible, those fixtures have also been drafted but these will only include U10s, U11s & Girls U13s.
The 2019/20 finals will be played on the 21st March alongside the 2020/21 finals.
But for now, let’s hope restrictions are lifted, Westway & Lords are reopened & for a restart by the 28th February & for everyone to stay safe & well until then.
All clubs will be notified again as soon as the position is known.
