U9 development league rules
The competition is a domestic one and only applies to South area.
8 players per side pairs cricket using an incrediball.
Pitch length 15 yards
16 overs per innings.
Batting team starts with a score of 200 and loses 5 runs each time they lose a wicket
Each teams has 4 pairs batting for 4 overs each.
Batsmen shall have unlimited ‘lives’ but each ‘life’ shall result in 5 runs being deducted from the total. No batsman who is out shall face the next ball. Batsmen shall change ends at the fall of each wicket except if a wicket falls from the last ball of an over.
A maximum of three overs per bowler.
No fielder apart from the wicket keeper may field closer than 11 yards to the batsman.
No balls and wides 2 runs plus whatever is run, with no extra balls, except in the last over when additional balls must be bowled.
